The following general terms and conditions apply however regional circumstances and regulations, contractual obligations to suppliers, and matters relating to location, product type and supply logistics may cause these to be varied slightly for specific products, or specific destinations. These amendments and alterations are shown in the Terms and Conditions sections of each web site, and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions shown below.

  • Travel arrangements and prices detailed on our web sites are provided and coordinated by Fair Mount Holidays.
  • Fair Mount Holidays has taken due care and responsibility to verify and check all information on our web site as at the time of compilation, however, as this information is supplied by the relevant accommodation & tour/cruise operators on our website, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or misdescription contained therein.
  • All arrangements for the provision of transport, accommodation, sightseeing and other services are made by al Fair Mount Holidays(hereinafter referred to as The Company) through appointed agents only. All vouchers, exchange orders receipts and contracts issued by The Company are subject to any and/or all tariffs and terms and conditions under which any accommodation, transportation and other services whatsoever are provided by hotels, transport companies, owners or contractors concerned. by acceptance of such Vouchers, exchange orders, receipts and contracts, the passenger deemed to have agreed to the foregoing:
  • Every person participating in any tour organized by The Company shall be regarded as carrying his own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property.
  • The traveler accepts full responsibility for losses and expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, war, terrorism, quarantine or acts of God.
  • The Company shall not be held responsible for the deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authorities of tour members resulting from improper travel documents, possession of unlawful items or irregularities that may be caused to person or property. Obtaining all proper travel documentation is the sole responsibilities of the passengers.
  • Neither The Company shall nor their employees or agents assisting or collaborating with them, is liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or expense which may arise in any way whatsoever during the tour. The Company is only an acting agent for the holiday components and will not be held responsible for any charges, acts of discretion or inconvenience caused by our suppliers and appointed agents.
  • In no case shall The Company or their employees or agents be liable for any causes outside their reasonable control or from any act or omission of the customer.

In no event shall the liability of The Company or their employees or agents in respect of any loss or damage other than death or personal injury exceed as an absolute maximum the price of the tour in question. The Company reserves the right

  • To alter any route, itinerary and/or accommodation without prior notice to the passenger if it shall in its sole and absolute discretion think this fit or in case of force majeure.
  • Fair Mount Holidays does not accept responsibility for any change in prices or variation of services as shown, and all services and prices are subject to change without notice.
  • It is essential that you check with us, or your travel agent, for any changes or variations to the information shown on our web sites. This will allow us to advise you, or your agent, of any such changes that we are aware of either before you book your holiday, or prior to your departure.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

Deposits: Bookings of US$ 270 or less, or bookings travelling within 30 days will be required to pay the full amount at the time of confirmation. Bookings over US$ 270 or travelling more than 30 days out will be required to pay a deposit of 25% per room at the time of confirmation. The appropriate amount will automatically be debited to the customer's account. Any booking not deposited with us by this time will automatically cancel without notification. Deposit conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are listed on the individual page or will inform you while your booking. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking. Bookings over Exhibitions and Festivals require full payment, as this is non refundable under any circumstances.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Bookings made less than 30 days prior to travel : Bookings made within 30 days of travel must provide a credit card guarantee at the time of booking, if the booking is available exactly as requested full payment will automatically be taken.

Final Payment : Final payment is due 30 days prior to travel date. No vouchers will be issued until final payment is received in our office. Final payment conditions for certain accommodation and tour products may vary, these are shown on the individual pages. We will advise you in writing of these conditions at the time of booking.

Credit Card Fees : Please note that a card fee will be applied automatically to credit card payment amounts: 
Visa / MasterCard,; 2% - Diners. 4% -

Cheque payments : Will only be accepted for bookings traveling date is above 30 days. Documents will only be issued after the Cheque is realized. 
Payments made by deposit to our bank account or Cash payment to one of our branches or Cash cheque 3 working days prior to the travelling date do not attract any extra fees.

Packages: Standard Cancellation Policy:

  • Bookings cancelled 16 or more days prior to travel - 10% of package cost non refundable.
  • Bookings cancelled in 8 - 15 days prior to travel - 25% package cost non refundable.
  • Bookings cancelled in 1 - 7 days prior to travel - 50% package cost non refundable.
  • No Show Bookings: The company will forced to cut 100% package cost non refundable.

All Credit Card refunds will be less 4% as card companies keep the credit card fee 

Flight Cancellation Policy:

  • Flight Bookings are totally non refundable or transferable
  • Cancellations must be in writing and should be addressed to the consultant handling the booking.
  • If a credit has been approved it is valid for 6 months from the date the cancellation was made.

Special Cancellation Conditions : Certain accommodation and tour products will apply additional cancellation charges. These cancellation conditions and costs are located under the pricing on the individual pages and will be clearly advised to you in writing at time of booking.

Amendment Fees : Any amendments made to non finalized bookings will incur a free of cost for each amendment made. Bookings that have been finalized and documentation issued will incur a fee of US$50 per amendment. This is in addition to any fees that may be levied by the supplier.

Late Booking Fees : A late booking fee of US$ 13 can be charged if booking is made within 48 hours prior to departure. This depends on the amount of administration work involved, and if applicable, you will be notified at time of reservation request from you or your agent.

Change Of Itinerary After Holiday Has Commenced : Any alteration or cancellation of services after your holiday has commenced can incur penalties. There is no refund for unused services.

Refunds : In order for a refund to be approved, you must have a claim number which is given at the time of reporting the cancellation or incident. No refunds will be made for services once travel arrangements have commenced. No guarantee is provided or warranted that any refund will be available. All refund requests must be in writing, and made direct to us or through the agent from whom the travel arrangements were purchased. Claims must be made within 15 days of completion of travel arrangements. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather or illness; these must be claimed through your Travel Insurance.

Reporting of Incidents : Any abnormal incidents including injuries, service problems, cancellation of a service or dissatisfaction must be reported to Fair Mount Holidays during the event to allow us an opportunity to rectify the situation or provide assistance.

GENERAL

Validity of Rates : Prices are valid for the dates clearly indicated in our Tour Itinerary.

Currency : All rates are quoted in US$ or UAE AED (Dirhams) or Indian INR.( Rupees) as otherwise indicated.

Children's Rates: : Child costs are based on sharing a room with adults and using existing bedding. Cost for additional bedding and rollaway are available on request.

Payment Options : Fair Mount Holidays offers a secure server for your credit card payments through Paypal. Alternatively, you can send payment through Western Union money transfer, or send a Draft / Cheque drawable in UAE or Indian Banks or make a Direct deposit to our bank account. Please visit our payments page for more details.

Travel Document : It is the passenger's responsibility to obtain a passport valid for at least 6 months and visas ( if required ), for the country to be visited. We do Visa assistance with additional fees. Please consult your travel agent or local consulate/embassy on visa requirements. Our company 'Fair Mount Holidays' cannot be held responsible or liable for any expenses, reimbursement or refund of tour prices if any passenger is refused entry by any country.

Travel Insurance : It is extremely important that you take out Travel Insurance. It is ESSENTIAL that this insurance covers you for involuntary cancellation of your holiday including airfare(s). Please visit www.fmholidays.com for further details and issuance of Insurance policy.

Accommodation :Accommodation is as specified in the accommodation section of our web sites. All costs are shown in US$, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard in the case the accommodation operator overbooks their property or for any reason beyond our control. All rates are subject to change without notice.

Accommodation Confirmations: Fair Mount Holidays : will try their best to confirm all accommodation requests, if for any reason a reservation is not accepted by the supplier we will do our best to provide you with a suitable alternate of the same standard and in the same location if possible

Alternate confirmations : If your request is a "No alternate Booking" then we will not confirm an alternate, but if the request is for 'Book alternate if not available' then we will try our best to confirm an alternate accommodation of similar standard in a similar location. 
If for any reason the alternate is not acceptable to you then it is your duty to cancel it in appropriate time as mentioned in our cancellation policy. If you do not cancel the alternate we will presume that it is acceptable to you and we will invoice you accordingly.

Baggage : Baggage is limited to one suitcase and one handbag/trolley per person. Excess baggage may be transported by luggage vans to your hotel or airport, at an additional cost. A ground handling charge will be imposed for each piece of excess, outsized or bulky baggage; for example boxes, crates golf sets etc. this extra charge may be payable directly to the airlines or transfer person.

Reconfirmations : A confirmed booking is not required to be reconfirmed by you. It is your responsibility to cancel all bookings that you do not need.

Amendments/Changes : Any amendments or changes to a booking should be made on our system or sent to us by E-mail. These changes will only be accepted by us if it is done by you. Any changes will not be accepted if it is applied by other than the person/office that has done the original booking. If the booking is canceled or amended direct with our suppliers you may still be liable for charges as per our contract with the suppliers. If the client manages to get a written authorization from the supplier that cancellation or amendment is accepted by them, and this is passed on to us within 10 days of the application, we will get this credit from the supplier for further refund.

Check In / Check Out Times : These vary according to operator. Generally your accommodation check in is 2.00PM and check out is 12.00PM. Please note that most properties will require a credit card authorization on check-in and may need to see photo identification. In the instance that you don't have a credit card usually a cash bond will be required.

Single Supplement Costs : If not shown in your selected accommodation cost, this is available on application.

Accommodation Ratings : Are based on our own inspections and some in conjunction with existing International Star ratings. Our ratings are for guidance only and are not to be construed as authorized endorsement.

Group and Incentive Travel : More than 9 rooms request is considered as a group request. As group and conference rates are specially contracted rates specific for that particular group, they have different terms and conditions to standard holidays. If you are booking a group or incentive, please ensure that these conditions are explained to you

Details : All maps, photographs, illustrations and computer based graphics are included for general purposes only and are not always indicative of the subject matter. Hotel room photographs (graphics) may not be specific to the actual room occupied. Maps are not to scale.

Activities : All Sightseeing, Tours, and Transfers can only be purchased in conjunction with accommodation. Any service that has been booked will automatically be canceled if the Accommodation is canceled.

Quotations : All quotations are subject to availability of services quoted and are not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed and advance payment received. Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue date.

INCLUSIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Prices DO Include : Accommodation, transfers, tours/cruises, car hire, government taxes and any other inclusions as specified in writing on the relevant web pages for each supplier's product.

Price Variations : All prices are guaranteed on the system. Fair Mount Holidays reserves the right to vary prices at any time as a result of changes in fairs and special events periods. Or, when currency fluctuates in excess of 3%. We will only increase the price on a confirmed booking if a change in tax is forced on us by our supplier.

WEBSITE ACCURACY

All due care and diligence has been exercised in the production of this website. Information concerning resorts, hotels, and their facilities has been compiled as accurately as possible. Nevertheless the properties and suppliers may make changes and facilities may not be provided or available in some cases. Such situations may be dictated by weather conditions, maintenance, local regulations etc. 'Fair Mount Holidays'cannot take responsibility for any such situations which are outside our control. Maps are shown for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but are not necessarily included in the holiday. Hotel room photograph may not be specific to the actual room occupied.

The copyright on all original/custom artwork, maps, navigation elements, presentation methods and design elements included in our web sites is held exclusively by our suppliers Copyright on all descriptive text is held by 'Fair Mount Holidays'. Copyright on selected photographic images is also held by our suppliers.

Photographic images are reproduced with the permission of our suppliers and the product and/or service providers represented on the web site, or as shown where necessary to satisfy the copyright obligations associated with their electronic reproduction.

Where joint copyright is held over proprietary text or images, 'Fair Mount Holidays' reserves the right to pursue all copyright infringements on behalf of the primary copyright holder. Where the copyright for a photographic image is held exclusively by a third party under license, 'Fair Mount Holidays' reserves the right to vigorously protect the copyright of those images on behalf of the third party.
